    Moving on to the tram stop area.
    Work continues on the escalators for the top floors. I was expecting to see at least one in since they were preparing it last visit, but instead more supporting elements have been added to the structure.

    Moving over to the other side of the garage and a look at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge work. Not a lot of visible progress from our limited vantage point.
    In a recent interview Bob Iger confirmed that the target is a June opening for the new land.
    The background spires continue to move toward completion. There were teams working on them this afternoon.

    Panning across the site only a few formations have scaffolding still.
    Surprised that this is not covered. It looks the same as last visit. I would have thought with the rain forecasted they would have gotten this closed in.
    The former hole on the street facing side of the building shows no signs of progress either.

    Walking through Downtown Disney. The new dining locations on the north side did not make a 2018 opening. Crews were working this afternoon.

    Across the way at Disney Home some of the Christmas merchandise has been moved and Mickey and Minnie merchandise is front and center.

    First stop today Disney California Adventure. This is the last weekend for the Christmas season. The season officially ends on Sunday but Festival of Holidays runs through Tuesday.

    The current park map. I like how the future Marvel area looks like a large park. Kind of surprised they have not indicated what is coming to that area yet.

    This weekend the area is also celebrating Dia de Reyes (Three Kings Day).
    I did not see any storytellers or other entertainment for the event this year.

    Took a quick look at the three kings area, there were a couple cast members and no one else in the area as I walked through.
    The tables were set up for coloring.
    There was also the traditional photo op.

    My plan was to go for a spin on the Pixar Pal-A-Round but the lines was all the way up the exit and probably pushing an hour (it was posted at 45 min but that seemed optimistic).
    So instead I found a spot for Viva Navidad Street Party.

    Some additional elements have been added to Poultry Palace, still no sign but on the lower portion these were added.

    The plan was to go for a cruise on the Mark Twain but the top deck was roped off so I opted to skip it.

    Mickey and Minnie Mouse were onboard the last Red Car to leave Buena Vista Street this evening. It was a couple minutes before 9pm and they waved goodbye to everyone and set off (no music or announcement just a photo op).
