As I rounded the corner toward the Mickey and Friends parking structure this afternoon traffic came to an abrupt halt.
Almost 20 minutes later I am next to pay. Also while waiting they flipped the parking lot signs and removed the preferred parking option.
25 minutes later I am in a spot and taking a look at the new parking structure construction.
  • Page Number: 2
This afternoon they were pouring the next section of the 5th floor on the back portion of the new structure.
  • Page Number: 3
As I pan to the left toward the front of the structure you can see supports rising up for the 6th floor (the roof level).
Here you can see the roof level forms and below it entrances to the 4th and 5th levels from the top ramp.
  • Page Number: 4
The forms are up to complete the ramp to the 5th floor. They are still installing the rebar.
A wider view of the area.
More escalators have been installed since last week and they were preparing more on the ground.
  • Page Number: 5
A closer look at a team working on assembling escalator segments for the upper floors.
The smaller ones from 5 to 6 and 3 to 4 have been installed.
They have started to paint/seal the lower level face of the structure as forms for the 5th level are taking shape.
  • Page Number: 6

Traffic on Disneyland Drive was backing up. Wonder if they closed the entrance to the garage temporarily.
Moving over to the other side of the structure to check out the Star Wars work.
  • Page Number: 11
More visible progress on the trio of background spires. Concrete is now on all three and the larger one is being painted.
Another spire to the right as I pan across the site.

  • Page Number: 15
From the escalator a look a the connection spans to the original structure.
Forms for the roof connection are in place.
Teams working on the first floor. Hard to tell what is going on. But you can see there is still some dirt where the first floor has not been poured. Also it appears a newer strip of concrete has been poured just inside.
