    After spending the morning at Aulani and then at Pearl Harbor we headed across the island via H3 around 2:30pm.
    The road ahead as we head into the mountains.

    For those who have not driven this way.. most of the trip is a two lane road and you pass through residential areas like this as you travel.

    The traffic in this area was really bad. Our direction was inching along then opened up a bit. The southbound side was bumper to bumper for miles.
    We bypassed Haleiwa and we stayed on the Kamehameha Hwy to go back toward Honolulu.

    This is the farming area of the island. You could see pineapples and other crops in the red soil.

    In the distance they were burning a field it looked like.

    We had to make a quick pit stop at the Dole Plantation before heading back to Aulani.
    I believe the LCD menus are new since my last trip here.

    Time to get back on the road. We opted to take H2 back.

    Up ahead where H2 deadends and we took H1 west back to Ko Olina and Aulani.
