Today we traveled to the California Science Center which is located in Exposition Park near Downtown Los Angeles, across the street from the University of Southern California.
Our goal today was to see the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
While waiting for our time slot we walked down the hall and saw some of the other Spacecraft they had on display. Here is an Apollo Capsule.

Time to go see Endeavour. The museum is free, but to see Endeavour you need a timeslot and to get a timeslot you have to pay at handling fee or buy a ticket to something else. So it costs us $2 each to go.
The first room features a look at what is in the shuttle and its connection to California.

The next room played a time lapse video of the move, very fun to watch it inch its way through the city streets. I would have liked to have seen more pictures of its fly bys.
Then you head downstairs and to the next building to see the ship itself.

Stepping into the temporary home of Endeavour the first sight makes you stop and want a picture.
