    As we approached Ko Olina from the main road you drive by the construction site.
    Then since I was heading to the Marriott Beach Club (where the Lazygeek and family were staying) we again passed by the site on the street inside the resort area.

    After meeting up with everyone we headed out for a closer look, on the way out spotted a ship that was used in the Pirates 4 filming that wrapped up out here a few weeks ago).

    Disneys Aulani Resort was full of activity as they are now less than a year till opening (8/29/11).

    As you can see the main towers exteriors look complete and now they are adding the details/finishing touches to the exterior.

    Right next to the construction is this temporary building that looks to house the preview rooms for the salespitch. I did not have time to go to the sales office and no one from Disney responded to my requests before I left to set up a meeting so no interior shots.

    Now a look down on the site from the nearby JW Marriott Resort. Can you spot the waterslide inside the mountain?
