    This was how I spent approximately three hours on Sunday morning. As soon as the Cruise line presentation ended, around 10am, I got in line for Cars which started at 1:30pm. This shot was taken around 11:30am.
    About 15-20 minutes or so before the presentation we were let in and seated. Here is a picture of the stage area

    John started off the presentation talking about the inspiration for the films.

    Kevin spoke next on how the land came to be.
    Imagineering was toying with the idea of Carland for DCA since California has a car culture.

    Maters will consist of 22 tractors
    Mater will be calling out the square dance during the run. The queue will feature memorabilia from his Tall Tale Adventures.

    The final attraction is the E-Ticket Radiator Springs Racers.

    There will be two car designs, four cars in each, eight colors.

    Cars Land is 12 acres and the Racers make up 6 acres which makes it the largest single Disney attraction to date.

    The turns look to be banked more than Test Track.

    One of their challenges was to add more trees than the film had since guests like shade.

    As all us geeks know John Lasseter worked on the Jungle Cruise in 1977 and 78. He dawned the outfit again for the parks 50th.
    Well now he is looking for a picture of himself from the 70s. If you come up with one he is giving away a VIP trip/pass to the opening of Cars Land. So visit the site to learn more.
