Approaching the port several ships are visible on the horizon, but the Disney Dream is front and center.
  • Page Number: 2
Since we were being dropped off by a Town Car we had to circle around to get into the terminal.
But we were dropped off right in front. Checked our luggage and were ready to head inside within minutes.
Off to the right is the area where the buses go.
  • Page Number: 3
Oops.. I was walking and forgot to stop..
No photos in the security area.. so last picture till we are in the terminal.
  • Page Number: 4
Stepping inside. The lighting was a pain so I apologize in advance for the blurry or bad exposure shots.
    Mickey out for pictures.
Our first stop. Checkin. There was no wait at all.
  • Page Number: 5
    And plenty of stations open.
In the center of the room a model of the Disney Magic.
  • Page Number: 6
I had some time to explore the terminal now.
Thought the Christmas decorations were great!
    Looking back toward the entrance.
  • Page Number: 7
You board through the yellow door on the left. The ship is beyond those windows.
The floor is a map of the Bahamas.
  • Page Number: 8
There were plenty of sitting areas and windows to look out. Plus TVs.
Looking out the windows at the bus terminal and a near by ship.
  • Page Number: 9
Vending machines if you need a snack while waiting (but lunch was waiting onboard)
Minnie came out to swap with Mickey for a while.
A tree down the end of the lobby.
  • Page Number: 10
A desk to register for youth activities.
The first groups were starting to board.
  • Page Number: 11
Behind the glass was a concierge area.
    Their check in area.
There was an observation area. So I headed outside.
  • Page Number: 12
You could get a great view of the ship from here.
  • Page Number: 13
And watch them load the ship too.
Outside doors to enter the concierge area.
  • Page Number: 14
The gangway to board is basically a jetway like you see at airports now a days except it was lined with windows and much wider..
Some wild life in the channel
  • Page Number: 15
    We were in group 5.
    The masses waiting to board.
  • Page Number: 16
    Almost our turn..
Our group was called fairly early..
  • Page Number: 17
First stop a checkin where they scanned your key to the world card.
Then on to a photo location.
  • Page Number: 18
One of many hand sanitation stations. The cruise industry and Disney take it very seriously.
Looking back at the observation area I was on a few minutes ago.
  • Page Number: 19
    Mickey welcomes you aboard.
A Castmember is there to ask your parties name and announce you to those in the atrium.
  • Page Number: 20
    To the right Guest Services
Ahead a friendly castmember to welcome us aboard.
And beyond the main lobby atrium. All decked out of the holidays.
  • Page Number: 21
Notice the tree is not lit. There is a ceremony later this evening for that.
Goofy up on Deck 4 (you enter on Deck 3) waving to the crowd.
  • Page Number: 22
Donald stands in the center of the lobby.
    The guest service counter.
Beyond the stores, which were all closed due to us being in port.
  • Page Number: 23
The mural behind the guest services counter.
    The ship was full.
  • Page Number: 24
We headed up to Deck 11 for lunch. The view of another near by ship.
The Aquaduck up above and a kids slide in the middle.
    First stop, lunch at Cabanas
  • Page Number: 25
Cabanas is sort of a free for all, CMs kept saying to go to the station you want but guests kept trying to form lines. Guess it is all that theme park training.
A quick look at the food.
I meant to go back to get more shots but ended up eating the dashing off for other pictures and forgot.. so sorry to all you food lovers out there.

One of the many seating areas.
Thought this was cool. Clocks showing the time at all the Disney properties around the world.
  • Page Number: 27
The stair ways of the ship have great Disney artwork. Here are some samples as I went from Deck 11 down to 4.
This is a piece of enchanted art. Meaning it is animated (more on that later).

I had a little bit of time before my 1pm tour of the ship so I walked through the District to see the clubs with no other guests around.
This area is located on Deck 4 Aft (back of the ship).
    First stop Evolution.

A buffet area between the clubs. Nothing set up right now.
    Next up the District Lounge.
  • Page Number: 34
Then 687 the sports bar. FYI 687 is the haul number for the Dream.
  • Page Number: 35
  • Page Number: 36
Made a quick restroom stop and could not help but take a picture of the curved rooms.
  • Page Number: 37
There is an outdoor lounge too.
Deck 4 is also the track so you can run completely around the perimeter of the ship if you wish.
  • Page Number: 38
Back inside and through Shutters. This is where you can see any pictures taken of you while onboard.
    Walking through the atrium.
Now up to Deck 5 where the Port Adventure Desk is and where the tour was departing from.
  • Page Number: 39
Guests still boarding (it is not even 1pm yet).
More great artwork on the walls.
  • Page Number: 40
You never know who you will find roaming the halls onboard.
  • Page Number: 41
A closer look. A more detailed exploration on a later trip by...
  • Page Number: 42
One of our two tour guides getting ready to start.
  • Page Number: 43
Funny first stop on the tour was back where I just was at Shutters on Deck 4.
  • Page Number: 44
Then by the D Lounge on Deck 4.
This is the main family activity space.
  • Page Number: 45
Then as luck would have it walked back through the District... felt like I was just here..
    Pink, a campaign bar.
After walking through the District went down to deck 3 and stopped outside Animators Palette.
  • Page Number: 46
The long hallway leading to mid ship.
Next stop the Royal Palace side entrance. Also on deck 3.
  • Page Number: 47
The Bon Voyage bar located right off the lobby atrium on Deck 3.
  • Page Number: 48
We headed down the hall to the Walt Disney Theater. The area was set up for tonights Golden Mickeys show.
  • Page Number: 49
The tour was over in less than 20 minutes so we headed back to find our room and were let in promptly at 1:30pm.
We were greeted with a gift from a friend (thanks again!)
To close this section instructions for the Wave phone. Each stateroom gets two of these phones and its a great way to communicate while onboard the ship since most people do not (myself include) for the cell phone coverage at sea.
