EPCOT - Morocco

Morocco is World Showcase's lone representative from the Middle East. The feel of this pavilion is greatly different from the others. Whether is the sandstone look, the tight walkways, or the ornate look. There are no attractions within the city streets, but you will find shopping, a museum, and dining when winding through this pavilion.

Be sure to walk through the museum and into the houses. Look at the details around the fountains and other rooms, they are all hand done by artists from Morocco.

Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

Morocco is really a well done pavilion I thought, it feels really immersive as you walk through it.. I have never been to Morocco so I do not know how accurate it is, but the architecture is really amazing. You actually feel as if you are somewhere different than Orlando. I really liked wondering throughout the marketplace streets.

Since there are no major attractions just shopping and food the pavilion really does not get too bad. If you want to really experience the place with no one around go in the early morning. We did and I have ten minutes of video with just my family and cast members wondering around. It was really a different way to experience the pavilion. LazyGeek recommends inquiring which magic carpet gets the best mileage. You have to keep this in mind for international travel….
