And that brings us up to today. The ride is down and being upgraded for the next generation. He spoke a little about where the new Star Tours fits, he said about episode 3.5. So at an earlier time than the original ride and films but after the newer films. George Lucas has been heavily involved throughout the process.

Next up was Paul Anderson with a discussion of the 1964 New York Worlds Fair and the Development of Audio-Animatronics Characters. Paul leisurely took the stage and prepared for his presentation (with his spear from earlier in hand again)

As the fair went on the characters were moved off of the ground level due to kids poking them to see if people were inside. As we all know the fair was temporary and Walt summed it up this way that everything had to be torn down.
