Disneyland Hotel Cast Member Receives Prestigious Statewide Honor
ANAHEIM, Calif. – December 29, 2009 – Earlier this month, Disneyland Hotel Parking Lead Wade Heath was selected as one of four recipients of the Outstanding Lodging Employee of the Year award by The California Hotel & Lodging Association. The statewide award recognizes hotel employees who go above and beyond normal job responsibilities. Heath earned the award for his consistent, personal interactions with guests, doing everything from making a lost Quinceañera feel like a princess while whisking her to a photo shoot, to taking time to help a little boy build the Disneyland Hotel with his new Lego set, to putting smiles on the faces of two young Jedi-Knights by sword fighting with them. Over the past five years, Disneyland Resort Cast Members have received three California Hotel & Lodging Association awards.
