Geek's Thoughts: This 116 paperback contains a catalog of the Hidden Mickeys at the Disneyland Resort. Both parks, Downtown Disney, and the Hotels are covered. The one feature that sets this Hidden Mickey book apart from the rest is the number of images included. There are photos on just about every page of a hidden Mickey or two. This is great to see for those of us who are not the most observant or are curious as to the locations before or instead of roaming the park. The format of this book is a little wider and larger font than most of the other guides that I have come across. While it is not as easy to fit into a pocket or bag it is easier to read. The page styling reminds me a lot of the Imagineering Field guide series.. with the bright colors for each section and font choice.
One other fun feature of this guide is it has random facts, figures, trivia, stories, etc.. scattered around too. These diversions really made it an interesting read for someone like me that was reading the book and not using it as a guide in the parks..
Each chapter contains a checklist of the hidden Mickeys at the beginning then the subsequent pages have a title and description of each hidden Mickey.
