In this section I include some information, my thoughts as well as pictures/videos from Hong Kong.

Geek's Thoughts

Hong Kong Disneyland was the first international Disney park I ventured to, my seventh Disney Park overall. I visited in April 2015 for just short of a week. Visit the trip report section to see my daily notes, trip log and pictures from my time in Hong Kong.

Overall I really enjoyed the park and visiting Hong Kong. Disney felt very familiar to me but slightly off. Very similar to the feeling I have when going between WDW's Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.. only more so if that makes any sense. I really enjoyed exploring the resort and noticing even though many things are different in Asia many are the same. For example kids are still kids and they melt down and react to a theme park in similar ways. For example I saw several families dealing with children who were acting up or throwing a full blown tantrum in the park. I had no idea what they were saying but from the reactions and gestures it sure looked the same threats of going home, etc...
