All
American College Band (Summer)
This band is comprised of college students from around the country.
They perform during the Summer throughout the park. Usually they
can be found in Town Square or in the Castle Forecourt. It is a
very entertaining and high tempo show. Also I am a little biased,
the director of the band is usually Dr. Arthur Bartner (director
of the University of Southern California marching band, which is
my alma mater.)
Christmas Fantasy Parade (Holiday
Season)
This holiday favorite features all your Disney favorites as well
as Santa Claus as they make their way down the parade parade.
Believe in Holiday Magic (Holiday
2000)
The Holiday version of the very popular Believe fireworks show. I
did not think it was as good as the original, but still much better
than your average fireworks show. It took advantage of the new pyrotechnics
developed for Believe and mixes them with your favorite Holiday music.
My biggest complaint is the "theme song" which is a holiday
version of the WDW Remember the Magic song. It was not that good and
I thought a little over done. The high light of the show is the finale
that consisted of snow falling throughout the park while White Christmas
was played over the sound system.
Sleeping Beauty Winter Castle (Holiday 2007)
This year they added a snow effect to the castle that includes overlays on the castle itself, lights, and more. A couple times each evening a small show is played at the Castle Forecourt and out in the Small World Mall. I do not know its real name, but I call it the Snow Show. This show consists of a child talking with an adult as the narration then a new version of Let it Shine (the Luminaria theme) followed by the lighting of the Castle (or projections on Small World Holiday depending where you are) then snow.. the show lasts only a couple minutes and it is not listed in the guidemaps and the CMs seem to avoid committing to a time for some reason.
Act I - When you wish (usually around 5:30 and it consists of lighting the castle for the first time this evening)
Act II - When you dream (usually around 7:30)
Act III - When you believe (the fireworks usually around 9:25)
